Wednesday, December 3rd – Friday, December 5th
The Horticulture Department’s Annual Poinsettia Sale is next week! Everyone in the ranks are already getting prepared for the mayhem that is about to ensue.
Just to give everyone a refresher on what’s going to happen next week…
On Wednesday, December 3rd, from 8:00AM -8:00PM, we will no longer be doing a formal meeting. Instead, we will be working in the department, wrapping up, cataloging, and organizing orders to ensure things go well for the sale. Pizza will be provided for all of our hard workers.
On Thursday, December 4th, from 9:30AM – 4:00PM, we will be distributing poinsettias to customers who have placed preorders. We will need help making sure everyone gets their order in an organized and timely fashion. There tends to be a rush in the morning because so many are excited to get their beautiful poinsettias therefore the more volunteers we have the better!
On Friday, December 5th, from 9:30AM – 5:00PM, we will be selling to the general public. We will need all hands on deck to make sure sales go smoothly and that everyone is accommodated.
We would really like to see as much help as possible from our volunteers and club members this year. There is plenty of work to go around and this will be an excellent chance to see the inner workings of the department, while helping out and getting to know everyone.
